Why does nobody talk about switching from weekly spreads to daily logs

Used a weekly spread for a year and kept abandoning pages mid-week, then switched to pure daily rapid logging last Tuesday at my kitchen table in Fresno and haven't skipped a day since, so I'm curious how many others dropped the weekly grid for the same reason.

Man, my buddy did the exact same thing last spring. He kept setting up these pretty weekly grids and then bailing on them by Wednesday, so he finally said forget it and went to plain daily logs. He told me he hasn't missed a day in months now, and honestly it made me want to try it too.
