Update: Switched from a digital bujo to a simple notebook after my tablet died mid-week

I’ve been digital for over a year, but last Tuesday my tablet completely bricked during a morning planning session. Lost three days of tasks and notes because I hadn’t synced to the cloud since Friday. Now I’m back to a basic Leuchtturm1917 and a Pilot G2 pen, and honestly it’s way simpler. Has anyone else had a device failure that made them switch formats entirely?

Oh man, that is ROUGH. Losing three days of stuff because of a sync fail is like a digital bullet to the brain. I've been there with a crashed hard drive before, so I feel your pain on that one. But hey, at least the Leuchtturm can't brick on you. It's got a pretty good battery life, too.

Man, speaking of battery life, I still remember when I went camping and forgot my charger for a week. My old tablet died on day two and I was stuck sketching with a stick in the dirt like a caveman. That Leuchtturm must feel like a tank compared to that nonsense.

Feel ya on that. Leuchtturm battery is insane, goes forever. Makes you forget why we ever put up with all this digital junk.
