My bullet journal saved me at the airport last month

I was stuck in Chicago O'Hare for a 6 hour delay and my phone died. I had my journal with me and could check my packing list and flight info because I'd written it all down. It felt so good to not be totally lost without a screen. Anyone else had their bujo help in a pinch like that?

You said your phone died, but didn't you have a charger in your bag?

Remembered the charger halfway through the hike, but the cable was the wrong kind (of course). Ended up using my buddy's phone as a hotspot to call for a ride, which took forever because the signal was garbage out there. Whole thing felt like one of those days where you're just solving one dumb problem after another. Honestly, just glad I didn't have to flag down a stranger or something.

Ever notice how the simplest trips need the most planning now? I used to just grab my keys and go, but after a day like yours I keep a spare cable in every bag. It feels silly until you're stuck somewhere with a dead phone. Glad your buddy had a signal at all, those little rescues make a bad day better.
