Totally get this. My own journal was a mess of color codes and daily ratings that just made me feel bad. Letting go of that need to track every mood or cup of water was such a relief. Now it's just tasks and maybe one big thing for the day. The pressure to perform for some future self just vanishes.

Sounds about right. We somehow turned a simple notebook into a performance review. The whole point gets lost when you're grading your own life.
