Found a dried-up ink marker in my journal from 2018

I was flipping through my old bullet journal from three years ago and found a whole week in March where I used a marker that dried out halfway through the page. The faded entries are still readable but they look like a ghost wrote them. Has anyone else run into old supplies ruining their archived spreads?

And oh man, I had almost the same thing happen with a gel pen that started skipping halfway through my December 2019 monthly spread. I ended up tracing over the faded lines with a fresh black pen that matched the original writing pretty closely. It took some patience to match the handwriting style but now it looks way more consistent. The ghost writing actually looks kind of cool if you hold it up to the light. Did you try fixing any of your faded entries or just leave them as is?

Wait, you actually traced over all those faded lines? That's insane. I can't believe you had the patience to match your handwriting from years ago. I just left mine as ghost writing because I figured it added character, but now I'm wondering if I should go back and fix them too.
