Bought a $40 stencil kit that collects dust, total regret

Last month I grabbed this fancy stencil set from an Etsy shop for my weekly layouts, thought it would make spreads look clean and artsy. Took one try with the tiny letters and numbers, everything smeared and the sizing was off for my notebook grid. Now the whole kit sits in a drawer while I'm back to my trusty ruler and fineliner, which works fine. Anyone else fall for a bujo gear purchase that looked great in the photos but useless in real life?

Tiny letters and numbers" that smear? Say it ain't so.

Yeah it's real. Those cheap ones with the tiny font start smearing the second your finger gets the least bit sweaty. I had one where the "3" turned into a blob after like two weeks. Numbers fade, edges bleed, and then you're just guessing. Give me big bold digits any day.
