Appreciation post: Hit 365 days of bullet journaling and it surprised me how much it stuck
I started this habit last January not expecting much, but I just realized I hit a full year of daily entries. That number surprised me because I usually drop new routines after a few weeks. What made it stick was using a simple weekly spread instead of fancy art I kept seeing online. My tracker for exercise and reading actually shows real progress over the months. Has anyone else hit a milestone like this that caught them off guard?

That moment when you realize you almost quit... what exactly made you push through that rough patch?

Did you read that article about how most people quit right before they actually get good? I heard this interview with a guy who said he almost quit painting, and it was just one small thing like getting a compliment on a random Tuesday that made him keep going. Funny how it's never some big life-changing moment, just a tiny nudge that keeps you in it.

lol wait so you went a full year without trying to make it look like those Instagram spreads? thats actually impressive because i feel like half the people who quit do it because they burn out trying to be artistic from day one. what was the thing that almost made you drop it though? like was there a specific week or month where you were close to saying screw this and you just pushed through anyway? i find those moments tell more about why something sticks than the easy days do. just curious if there was a breaking point you had to get past.
