Rant: That grounding wire on the subpanel took me 4 hours to find
I was wiring a new subpanel in my garage and kept tripping the breaker every time I powered it up. Turned out the bond screw was still in from the factory and it was grounding through the neutral. Has anyone else spent way too long chasing a dumb mistake like forgetting to check for a factory installed bond?

My last subpanel in the garage took me 3 hours because I missed the same thing. @the_patricia is right, that bonding screw is always hidden in the back. But honestly, if you're running a 60A feeder to a detached garage, it's not the end of the world if you trip a breaker a few times while testing. Just pull the panel cover and double check before you start. It's annoying but not worth a full rant.
