Confess, I've been the one waking the block with a concrete saw on Saturday morning! Those weekday quiet hours leave us with no choice but to work weekends. My bad for the extra noise!

Man, @evac40, that's the perfect example of a rule making the exact problem it tried to fix. We see this everywhere! Quiet hours on weekdays just push all the loud work into Saturday mornings. It's like when a store closes early, so everyone rushes at the same time and causes a bigger crowd. The rule tries to make peace but ends up making everyone mad at each other instead. Your concrete saw is just the sound of that bad system at work.

My neighbor's band thought weekdays were fine too, @mark_rivera, till the 6 AM drum solos started.
