TIL a $22 rice cooker from Goodwill beats the $90 one I ran for 6 years

I swore the cheap ones burned rice until my old cooker died last month and I grabbed one on a whim, and it has cooked 30 perfect batches since. Anyone else find a thrift store kitchen thing that outlasted the fancy version?
