Shoutout to my local library for saving me $60 this month

I finally tried their free museum pass program and got tickets for my family to the science center, which would have cost us $15 each. We had a great day and I learned you can find way more free fun than you think if you look. What's the best free or cheap thing you've found in your town?

Honestly, where did you get that idea? I read an article about how libraries have always been about giving people a quiet place to focus and learn. Tbh, the loud and busy model just turns them into a free coffee shop without the coffee. It pushes out students and people who actually need the quiet. The whole point is to offer something you can't get in a noisy world.
