My coworker at the office in Denver bragged about his $12 lunch every day and I finally did the math on mine
Last week I sat next to Dave in the break room and he would not stop going on about how he only spends $12 a day on lunch. I never really paid attention before, but I added up my own food runs for the month and it came to $310. That is almost $200 more than his, and I was not even eating anything fancy, just the sandwich place downstairs and a coffee. So I started bringing leftovers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Two weeks in and I have already kept $86 that would have walked out the door. Has anyone else done this kind of math on their own lunch habit and been shocked by the number?
