Gas station coffee is a trap. I used to grab one every morning on the way to work and then a second one in the afternoon, and before I knew it I was spending like sixty bucks a month. That's basically a whole car payment for a cheap sedan. I had to sit myself down and do the same math you did and felt pretty dumb about it. Now I just make a pot at home and put the extra cash towards something that won't give me a stomach ache.
