Switched from a regular grocery store to Aldi for my weekly shopping

I compared my usual $120 weekly bill at Kroger to just $78 at Aldi for the same amount of food. The main difference was Aldi's store brands, which are just as good but way cheaper. I'm saving over $40 a week now. What other stores have you found that beat the big chains on price?

Check out Lidl if you have one nearby, it's basically Aldi's twin. Their bakery section alone makes the trip worth it. You'll find the same kind of crazy savings on staples.

Wait, Lidl has a bakery section? That changes everything.

Yeah, their bakery is the real deal, and @paigesullivan is right to be excited. Just get there early before the good stuff sells out.
