PSA: The Aldi near my apartment marks down meat at 8am on Tuesdays and I got 4 pounds of chicken for $6
I stopped by the Aldi on 5th Street last Tuesday morning before work just to grab eggs and noticed a worker slapping 50% off stickers on all the meat that was about to hit its sell by date. I walked out with 4 pounds of chicken thighs for $6 total and froze half of it that night. Does anyone know if other grocery chains do markdowns at a set time like this, or is it just luck depending on the store?
