Read a thing last week about those cheap rotisserie chickens and how they're actually a loss leader for the store, like they sell them at a loss just to get you in the door. Makes sense why they're so cheap but it also made me wonder about the quality. I still grab them though because the time saved is worth way more than the few bucks I'd save cooking a whole bird myself. One thing I learned the hard way is to use the meat within a couple days or freeze it right away, those things turn fast. Also save the bones and skin and boil them for stock, that's basically free soup base for the week. Week one sounds like a win to me, keep it going.
