That $60 'portable' projector I bought for camping was a total joke in direct sunlight
Brought it to a campsite near Sedona last weekend. Tried to set it up for a movie night around 8pm before it got dark. The picture was so washed out you couldn't see anything unless it was pitch black. Even then the fan noise was louder than the audio. I ended up just staring at the stars instead. Anyone else find a cheap projector that actually works outside?

Ugh that Sedona sun is brutal. I took a cheap $50 projector to a beach trip in Florida and it was the exact same deal. By the time it was dark enough to see the picture, the battery was dead and the fan was drowning out everything. Ended up just watching the waves instead.

Yeah the combo of heat and humidity just murders cheap electronics lol.
