Shoutout to the greenhouse in Portland that finally got me to switch to grow lights

I used to think a sunny window was enough for my indoor plants, but after visiting the Urban Farm Store in Portland, I saw their setup with full-spectrum LED panels. My Monstera grew maybe 2 inches in six months on a windowsill, but under a basic 24-watt panel for just a month, it put out a huge new leaf. Is a dedicated light system really worth the cost over just using natural light?

That Portland greenhouse convinced me too.

Consider how grow lights let you place plants anywhere, not just near a window. You can finally use that dark corner for a fiddle leaf fig instead of just pothos. It changes your whole room layout, not just your plant's health.

Yeah, until you realize you've just moved the light problem from the window to the outlet... now you're tripping over cords for your fake sun. My living room looks like a mad scientist's lab for plants.
