Manager cut our floor staff from 5 to 2 on a Friday night and sales dropped $1,800 in 3 hours
He claimed labor was too high, so he sent three people home at 6pm, and by 9pm we had a line out the door and walked out customers. Anyone else ever watch a boss save $90 in wages and lose 20x that in sales?

Its the same math as when companies cut the call center to save a few bucks and then lose customers forever cause nobody can get help. Short term numbers look great on a spreadsheet but the people actually doing the work see the fallout way before the boss does. Saving pennies to lose dollars is like the official business plan everywhere now.
