I'd been digitizing tapes off an old camcorder hooked straight to a capture card with zero time base correction, and I thought the wobble was just part of the charm. He looked at 20 minutes of my copy of The Warriors and pointed out the rolling bars came from my VCR tracking drifting, not the source tape. What cheap TBC setup are you all running, because I'm not dropping $300 on a pro deck for this hobby.
