Update: dropped $85 on a 3D printed insert for Terraforming Mars and it did not fit the box
Bought a custom insert from a seller on Etsy for $85 shipped. Waited 3 weeks for it to arrive. Went to slide it into my copy and the lid sat up about half an inch. The seller measured the retail box, not my copy with the big box expansion cards in it. I tried sanding the sides down, cracked one of the trays. So now I have $85 of ugly plastic stacked next to the box. Lesson learned: always ask for photos of the insert loaded with YOUR exact version of the game. Has anyone found an insert that actually fits the big box plus all expansions?

Did you even check if the seller listed which version it was made for? I always figured if you pay that much for a custom insert, the person making it would at least ask what box you have. Seeing your post made me change my mind on that, because now I get that most of these sellers just pump out one size and hope for the best. I would message them with your box measurements before buying anything else, since the big box plus all the expansions is a whole different beast than the retail copy.
