Shoutout to that $60 board game insert I almost passed on

I bought a foam core insert for Gloomhaven from a guy on Etsy last month for 60 bucks. Figured it was a waste since I could just bag everything, but after one setup session I realized how wrong I was. It cut my setup time from 20 minutes down to 5 and nothing gets lost anymore. Has anyone else dropped money on an organizer and actually felt it was worth it?

Man that Gloomhaven insert is a lifesaver right? I was the same way with my copy of Terraforming Mars. I spent like 50 bucks on a broken token organizer and thought I was insane until I actually used it. Now I cant imagine playing without it. What was the biggest pain point that made you finally pull the trigger on buying it? Was it just the setup time or was there something else driving you crazy?

Oh man tell me about it! I was in the same boat with my copy of Gloomhaven. The setup time was definitely a killer but what really got me was the baggie situation. I had like twenty different little bags and every time I wanted to play I'd spend ten minutes just fishing for the right monster tokens or modifier cards. It drove me crazy enough that I finally broke down and bought the organizer. Best money I ever spent on a game honestly. Now I can just open the box and start playing in like five minutes flat.

Twenty little bags? That sounds like character building to me haha. @jennyp19 I actually think baggie chaos is part of the ritual with these monster games.
