I told my fantasy football league I'd quit after 12 years if I lost one more trade, and then I did the math
Last Tuesday I finally sat down and counted up every trade I made in my league since 2012. 94 trades total, and I lost 61 of them according to the group chat vote each year. That's a .351 win rate, which is somehow worse than a team that just auto-drafts and never touches their roster. My buddy Dave has made 11 trades in the same span and won 9 of them, and he openly admits he just picks whoever has the cooler name. So I posted in the chat that I'm retiring from trading forever and half the league begged me not to because I'm apparently their favorite mark. Now I'm wondering if anyone else has a league mate who's basically free money every season, or am I the only sucker who keeps coming back.
