Hot take: I thought debit cards were a scam until my bank in Reno charged me $34 for using an ATM
Back in 2016 I stuck with cash for everything because I didn't trust cards, then a trip to Reno cost me $34 in ATM fees in one weekend. Now I use debit for almost everything and haven't paid a fee since, but my buddy still swears cash keeps him from overspending. Anyone else switch sides on this?
