Dumpster diving behind a bakery in Austin fixed my grocery budget

I was dropping $80 a week on food, now I hit the dumpster at 9pm on Tuesdays and grab day-old bread and pastries. It felt sketchy at first, but I've done it for 6 weeks with zero issues, anyone else do this or am I just asking for trouble?

Honestly, hit up a local food bank first, they gave me way more than the bakery ever did.
