Rant: I quenched a 1084 blade in canola at 130 degrees and it warped, so do you fix it or scrap it?
Was in my garage shop in Tucson two weekends back and pulled a 6 inch hunter out of the oil with a visible curve, right after I'd spent an hour getting the edge even. I clamped it in the vise and gave it a few taps, but now I'm second guessing whether it's safe to sell. Do you all straighten and move on, or is this one destined to be a shop knife?
