My buddy called me out for watching the same shows over and over
I was telling my friend Mike about how I've seen The Office like 8 times through. He said 'don't you get bored?' and I laughed it off. But later that night I realized I haven't started a new series in almost 2 years. He wasn't being mean, just pointing out I'm stuck in a loop. Has anyone else had a friend make you question your binging habits like that?

Oh man, Mike sounds like a good friend for calling it like he sees it. I had the same thing happen with me and my sister when she walked in on my fifth Friends rewatch in a row. She didn't say much but the look on her face was enough to make me question all my life choices. Now I'm trying to mix in one new show for every two old ones just to break the cycle.

Yeah the "look" can be worse than any actual words. What worked for me was setting a hard rule of one new episode for every two rewatched ones. I started with The Bear because everyone kept telling me it was good and I finally got around to it. Now I'm actually looking forward to the new stuff more than the old stuff most nights.
