Caught a fast food customer faking a complaint for free food yesterday

I work the counter at a burger joint in Cleveland, and this lady comes in claiming her to-go order was missing a whole burger. I checked the security cam and watched her eat it in the parking lot before walking in. Has anyone else dealt with customers pulling stunts like that at your job?

Honestly, it's wild how some people think a little acting can get them a free meal. Tbh, I feel like that kind of entitlement is everywhere now, not just at restaurants but like at stores or even with delivery apps.

Wait, people are actually FAKING bad service to get refunds on delivery apps? I heard a buddy of mine say his cousin does this regularly - orders food, takes a picture of an empty plate, claims it never showed up. App refunds him every time. Five times already with the same account. Can't believe these platforms don't flag that stuff.
