A customer told me she waited 40 minutes just to yell at me about a coupon that expired in 2019
I work the register at a grocery store in Toledo and this lady came up with a receipt from 2019 trying to get 50 cents back on some yogurt. She screamed at me for 10 minutes in front of a full line while my manager hid in the back office, and I just stood there smiling. That job taught me people will burn 40 minutes of their day to fight over pocket change, and they always target whoever is wearing the apron. Anyone else notice the folks who yell the loudest are the ones who never once asked for a manager politely?
