A client brought in a picture of a haircut from 2018 and asked for it exactly

I was working in my shop in Austin last week when a guy showed me a photo from his college graduation, wanting that same faded look. The picture was from three years ago, and his hairline has changed a lot since then. Have you ever had to talk a client into a more current style that actually fits them now?

My old boss in Dallas always called it "cutting the ghost." You gotta show them how their hair actually grows now, not how it used to.
