Tried a zero carb diet for 30 days and my cholesterol went up

I cut out all carbs for a month last fall in Austin, thinking it would fix my numbers. After 30 days my LDL went from 120 to 145 according to my blood test. Has anyone else seen their health markers go the wrong way on this diet?

Notice how everything in life goes to extremes now, even diets. Everyone wants the magic pill or the one weird trick to fix their health, like cutting out an entire food group is gonna be the answer. I see it with my neighbors who swear by keto then wonder why they're constipated and irritable. Or my friend who went vegan and ended up with B12 deficiency so bad she couldn't focus at work. Your body's a complex system, not a light switch you can just flip off carbs and expect everything to balance out.

Honestly, 100% this. People treat their bodies like they're troubleshooting a broken phone instead of maintaining a car. You can't just uninstall one part and expect the whole thing to run fine.
