The 2% cashback card my buddy swore by, now I'm 400 bucks ahead
My friend Dave, who works at a credit union over in Fresno, kept pushing this no-fee cashback card on me for like a year. I figured it was just him trying to justify his own choices, but I finally signed up in March. I put all my shop supplies and gas on it, paid the balance every Friday, and by September I'd racked up 400 bucks in rewards. The catch is you have to set up auto-pay, which I was nervous about at first, but it's been smooth. Anyone else got a card that actually paid off once you committed to the routine?

Wait, you actually pay your card off every Friday and didn't just let the balance ride like the rest of us? That's some next level discipline I can't even fake. I've got a travel card that gives me points but I always end up spending the rewards on delivery pizza because I'm too lazy to cook after a shift. Auto-pay scares me more than a root canal, but congrats on being the one friend who actually follows through.
