Best day last month: a customer paid a $12k invoice 3 hours after I sent it
I had one Monday where every wire transfer hit on time and a vendor even refunded a $450 fee without asking. Has anyone else had a perfect banking day followed by a nightmare one where nothing clears for a week?

Read somewhere that banking karma balances out over time. The universe gives you one easy day then makes you wait a week for everything.

A vendor refunded a fee without asking? That actually never happens. I think the banking gods were on vacation that day or something.

My cousin works at a small credit union in Ohio and she told me that banks actually have a "goodwill policy" hidden in their fine print. They can refund a fee once or twice a year for no reason if the customer is in good standing. It's not common and most tellers won't offer it unless you ask. So that vendor probably got lucky with the one person who remembered to do it. It's like finding a hidden gem in a pile of gravel.
