Shoutout to the movie theater in Tulsa that screens 'The Room' monthly

I caught a midnight showing last Saturday and finally got why people defend this mess. Everyone was throwing spoons and yelling lines, so the awful acting felt like part of the fun, not a flaw. Has anyone else seen a so-bad-it's-good film with a live crowd and changed their mind about it?

Is it just me, or does the whole world feel more fun when you stop taking it so seriously? I think that's what those group screenings really tap into, you know? We spend all day stressing over work and bills and being proper, but then you sit in a dark room with strangers and yell at a crazy movie together. It reminds me of how kids can turn any boring thing into a game, like waiting in line or a long car ride. Once you let go of the need for everything to be perfect or make sense, the flaws just become part of the show. That movie theater crowd probably taught you more about having a good time than any serious film ever could.
