I finally watched Waterworld again after 15 years, it's actually good
Everyone trashes this movie for the $200 million budget and Kevin Costner's gills, but I gave it another shot last Sunday on streaming and the world building is legit. The floating atoll scene alone has more practical sets than most modern blockbusters, and Dennis Hopper's villain is pure camp gold. Has anyone else rewatched a flop later and wondered if the hate was just hype from the media back in 1995?
