The fact that you watched Battlefield Earth twice on purpose says a lot, and I mean that in the best way. That movie is famously a trainwreck and most people tap out in the first 20 minutes. But there's something real about giving a bad movie a second shot, because the first watch you're just confused and the second watch you actually notice the weird stuff. I've done this with a few movies myself and honestly the second time is usually funnier because you know what's coming. You were just ahead of the curve on this one, no shame in it at all.
