Vent: said yes to a 6am shift for a $2 raise and now I can't sleep at night
My manager Dana at the tire shop in Gary, Indiana asked me to move from 9am to 6am starts and promised $2 more an hour, which sounded great on paper. Two months in, I'm at 5:15am every day, dragging through the afternoon, and my check only went up $53 a week after taxes and the cut in my hours. Has anyone here gone back on a shift change like this, and how did you bring it up without getting labeled the problem guy?
