The snack shelf inventory at my old warehouse job still haunts me
Three years ago I worked nights at a distribution hub in Tulsa, and this one supervisor, Dale, would count every single granola bar in the break room vending rack every Friday. He'd announce the numbers over the PA like it was a sports score, and if one bag of pretzels was missing, he'd grill the whole shift. Last week I saw a vending machine at a gas station and literally froze for a second. Has anyone else had a boss turn something so trivial into a full-blown surveillance operation?
