The guy who brought his mom on our second date in Austin
Last month I went out with this guy from a dating app. First date was fine, coffee in Austin, normal stuff. He seemed shy but nice. So he asks for a second date, says he wants to try this new taco place. I get there and he's sitting at a table with his mom. He didn't warn me at all. When I sat down he just said, "Mom wanted to see how dating works these days." She asked me about my income and if I planned on kids within ten minutes. I ate my tacos fast and left. Has anyone else dealt with a parent tagging along without warning?
That's wild she asked about your income on date two, that's not shy, that's a full screening process. If his mom is running the interview now I'd say that's a preview of every decision you'd ever make with him.
