Can we talk about how people treat dinner dates like a job interview?
Went out with a guy last Friday at a place in Denver and he spent 40 minutes asking me about my 5 year plan, my savings, and whether I want kids. It felt like HR was screening me, not two people trying to see if they like each other. I am a nurse on night shifts, I barely have a 5 day plan, let alone a 5 year one. Nobody's worst date story is about the food, it's always about someone treating a Tuesday dinner like a performance review. How do you politely shut that down, or do you just finish the drink and bail?
