Stick with planning every site to avoid those stressful scrambles. I've seen too many trips ruined when friends tried to improvise and found nothing open. Locking in your spot ahead of time just makes the whole experience smoother.

Actually had that panic at a medical building downtown last week. Circled the tiny lot three times watching other drivers do the same sad loop. Ended up parking in a garage that cost more than the appointment itself. That feeling when your blinker is just permanently on... pure defeat.
