Unpopular opinion: eating at the kids table at Thanksgiving beats the adult table

At my aunt's place in Boise last November I sat with my 6 year old cousin and two other kids instead of the grown ups, and nobody asked me about my job or my ex one single time. Anyone else ditch the adult table on purpose?
