Update: a $3 bag of zip ties from Harbor Freight saved me on a 737 pitot static test
I kept getting a tiny leak in my pitot static tester setup and chased it for 2 hours on the ramp in Phoenix before I noticed the rubber connector hose was kinked. Wrapped it with a few zip ties to hold the bend out, leak dropped to almost nothing and the test passed clean. Anyone got a real fix for those cheap connector hoses or do you just keep a bag of ties in your box too?
