My #2 VHF comm radio died mid-flight over Tulsa last Wednesday and I am second guessing my bench test setup
I had a King KX 155 that started acting up on the ground so I pulled it, ran it on the bench, and it passed every check I threw at it. Two days later it goes dead in the air at 4,000 feet over Tulsa and I had to fall back on the #1 radio for the rest of the trip. What am I missing in my test rig that would let a bad unit slip through like that?
