Still not sold on those ultrasonic parts cleaners everyone raves about

I keep seeing guys at the shop posting videos of them dropping carburetors and injectors into those ultrasonic tanks and pulling out spotless parts in 20 minutes. I tried one back in 2018 at a buddy's garage, a 6 liter heated unit from harbor freight, and it just didn't do much for the baked on varnish on a old quadrajet I was rebuilding. I still prefer my method of using a good solvent soak for a few hours then hitting everything with a brush and compressed air. Maybe the professional grade machines are better, but the $150 units seem like a waste of money to me when a bucket of mineral spirits and some elbow grease costs way less. Has anyone else had better luck with the cheap ones or am I missing some trick to using them right?

350 bucks for a real cleaner changes everything. Worth it.
