Can we talk about how my foreman's $8 heater hose trick saved a van in Grand Rapids?
My old foreman in Grand Rapids swore you could fix a leaking heater hose with a $8 barb fitting and two clamps instead of pulling the whole intake, and I thought he was nuts. Last month a church van came in on a Friday with no heat and a pinhole leak, so I tried his trick and had them back on the road in 40 minutes. How many of you have a cheap shortcut like that which a young guy would never believe?
