Appreciation post: Left a heat gun on a bumper at Miller's Auto Body in Dayton and I'm still smelling it
I was at Miller's Auto Body on 3rd Street in Dayton last Thursday pulling a dent out of a 2016 Civic and left my heat gun sitting face down on the rear bumper cover for maybe two minutes while I grabbed a clip tool. Came back to a soft spot the size of a coffee cup, had to feather it out with 180 and re-shoot the whole panel. That little pause cost me 3 hours and a bad smell that stuck in the booth all afternoon. Anybody got a cheap timer trick so I stop doing this on every job?
