I tried stacking 50 photos of the Orion Nebula from my backyard and got a weird green tint I can't explain

Oh man, that green tint is the worst. Happened to me last year with Andromeda, turned everything this sickly pea soup color. Spent a whole weekend trying to fix it in the stacking software. Sometimes it's a white balance setting buried in the camera or the stacking program itself. Really hope you figure it out, that's so frustrating after all that work.
