My dentist in Boise asked one weird question and it saved me from a root canal
I was sitting in the chair last Tuesday for a cleaning when my dentist asked if I ever wake up with jaw pain, and I said yeah, sometimes, and didn't think anything of it. He took one look at my back molars, said I was grinding at night and wearing down enamel, and fitted me for a night guard that same visit instead of just telling me to come back in six months. Has anyone else had a random question at a checkup catch something way bigger than you expected?
