My boss told me my cleaning route was stupid. He was right.

I used to clean top to bottom in every house, but a client in Portland pointed out I was re-dusting the lower shelves after vacuuming. She said 'start with the floor stuff last' and it cut my average house time from 4 hours to 3.2. Has anyone else gotten feedback that felt backwards but turned out to be a game changer?
